This is an interesting little piece to perform. It utilises two items found else where on this site. Namely "The Mind Readers Wallet" and "The Paradox Boxes".
By combining them we have a killer presentation, that can be slanted towards Bizarre presentation, or psychic entertainment, or simply a mentalist presentation. Whether you wish to appear to be a great Occultist, or a talented psychic, or just a nice person with an unusual ability that is up to you.
Here is one possible presentation.
The psychic hands a notepad/wallet to the participant, and asks them to write the name of someone close to them (living or dead depending on your taste).
You also introduce a small black box, inside of which are two small brass barrels. You instruct the participant to place the written name inside one of the barrels, screw on the lid and then to place them inside the black box and replace the lid of that also.
All of this is done while your back is turned.
Once this is done. You can also introduce your own pack of tarot cards (this is optional) The deck is cut into four packets. The top card of each packet is turned up and you read the cards for the participant. During the reading you also reveal the name written on the piece of paper and tell them which box they hid the note in.
You also open your tarot bag and inside there is a folded business card which predicts the name of the four cut to Tarot cards.
You are supplied with "The Mind Readers Wallet" and "The Paradox Boxes" with instructions plus some notes on the additional routine/s just described.
