Yet another fine effect from Aldo Colombini.
This is one of those items/methods that can have so many uses. It is limited only by your own imagination. The effect as supplied packs small and plays big. It is visual, involves members of the audience, and has drama.
On stage, the performer has on display four coloured bags (gift bags are ideal) Each sealed bag is a different colour I.E. Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.
Three spectators are chosen from the audience. They are asked to pick a number from one thru four. Let us say that spectator A chooses number one, Spectator B chooses number 2, and spectator C chooses number 4. So by natural selection the magician is left with number 3.
You show four small coloured cards. The cards match the colour of the bags, and each card contains one number from one to four.
The coloured number cards are placed next to its matching bag.
Each spectator takes their bag and crushes it between their hands. Each bag is empty. The performer takes the bag that was left for him and opens it. Inside is a genuine broken bottle.
Any item could of course be inside the bag from a broken bottle, or sharp knife, to a bundle of money etc.
The spectators have a completely free choice of which numbers they wish to select.
This is a terrific item. There is so much scope for building routines and including bits of business and interaction with your audience.
Once again the working is straight forward enough. Leaving you completely free to concentrate on your presentation and to keep an eye on your audience.

Back by popular demand! You introduce four colored paper bags. Each bag is folded at the top, concealing the contents. Three spectators each select a bag and they smash them flat by slamming their bag between their hands. The bags are empty. You take the last bag, reach inside it and remove a REAL bottle of beer (or something else that comes in a glass bottle) with the top broken off and the edges jagged! It comes with the necessary ‘things’ to perform the effect. Use any bags and any bottle.
