This is a great effect from Aldo Colombini. I have had a lot of fun performing this one myself. It is a nice item and has an instant reset.
Basically the effect is as follows.You show the spectator a pack of cards, lets say that the deck is red backed. On top of the deck are three blue backed cards.
You explain that these three cards are your prediction, and they are placed to one side. The spectator picks any card from the red backed deck (completely free choice) this is placed on top of the blue backed prediction cards.
You then show the faces of your prediction cards. They are three kings (for example) The spectators chosen card is also turned face up, and that is the remaining king. Superb, but there is more to come.
You explain that some people believe that all the cards are the same (point to the deck of cards). You state that they are. Turn the deck face up and the audience can see that the entire deck is the same card, but they are all the three of diamonds (for example)
This is an outstanding effect. The plot is simple for the audience to follow, the effect has a good impact and the handling is simple to deal with. In fact Aldo Colombini even presents you with two handlings to choose from.
A terrific item. I highly recommend it.
